24th European Congress of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine - ESPRM

The 24th Congress of the European Society for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ESPRM2024) will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, between 23 – 27 April 2024. The congress is proudly co-hosted by the Slovenian Society for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, whose members comprise the ambitious and hardworking local organizing committee. We hope that this event, besides restoring our regular congress routine, will allow us to see each other in person again, to rekindle old friendships and collaborations, and establish new ones.

The ESPRM2024 event will bring us up to date with the extremely broad and complex fields of Physical and Rehabilitation medicine. The Scientific Program and Teaching Programs are at the core of the ESPRM2024 Congress. These are complemented by plenary lectures from leading experts in their fields, scientific sessions relevant to all clinical conditions and rehabilitation interventions, and poster sessions that will feature the broadest research of our colleagues.

In addition to learning and science, the ESPRM2024 offers an excellent opportunity for communication and exchange. After years of pandemic restrictions, this will be the first independent Congress of the European Society for PRM, and we will be able to see and learn from each other face-to-face again!

Slovenia, and its capital city Ljubljana, are both wonderful destinations. A safe and relatively inexpensive city with much to offer, Ljubljana has been termed a green capital of Europe. It enjoys a rich history of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, with names such as Milan Dimitrijević, Franjo Gračanin, Slobodan Grobelnik, Martin Štefančič, Črt Marinček and many others. Our national institution – University Rehabilitation Institute – will be open to all interested in a visitation.

For the ESPRM and its Member Societies, this biennial congress is an opportunity to highlight the innovations and reality of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.
